I am a certified proofreader and copy-editor, achieving a distinction grade in my diploma with the College of Media and Publishing. I have a passion for the English language and am rarely seen without a book in my hand!

Proofreading or copy-editing? What is the difference?
Proofreading
I would review the spelling, punctuation, grammar, formatting, and editorial style of your copy.
Copy-editing
I would look at the structure of sentences, the flow, and the use of language for your intended audience, check facts such as dates, names, times, calculations, etc, and also do a full proofread. Copy editing can be tailored to various levels to suit your needs.
